If you are out searching for a new server and driving to all of the local computer stores, you are wasting time. My friend Bill and I found a new server online in less than ten minutes, and on the day we started our search.

Bill had heard of some companies that are going out of business pull everything out of their buildings and sell them on the internet. The used bladecenter that Bill and I purchased was on an auction site and had a price that if we paid it, we automatically won the auction. The price for the used bladecenter was about half of what we thought we were going to pay. Since we got such a great deal, we continued to shop.

We ended up buying an additional server that we could have to be our back up just in case the used bladecenter went down. The other server that we purchased for a great price was a used iseries. We figured that we got both of the servers for about two thousand less than we had budgeted for just one.

I would hope that more people learn about where you can get these online and save yourself thousands instead of driving all around hoping to get a great deal, and maybe never finding it. We were happy with the great deal on the used iseries and the used bladecenter that we found.
