Most apartment buildings are multistoried.  Whether they are used for residential purposes or holiday rental they contain multiple segments with a ground floor and several floors above.  

However, there is one type of apartments that are often used for vacation rentals and yet does not have multiple stores of structure. These are the Garden Apartments.  

A typical Garden Apartment has many characteristics like the townhouse.  Apartments in a garden apartment are placed horizontally by the side of each other and not vertically on top of each other. They are most often used as short term rentals. The building would be only one storied and the apartments inside would have a single bed room and in no case more than two bedrooms. To facilitate those visitors who prefer to come by their cars, some of the garden apartments also make provision for a ground level garage and the garden house is placed above it at a little height. Those who come in rented vehicles or by other means can walk on to the apartment through the common courtyard provided for the purpose. The most attractive part of such apartment house is the ground that is mostly very well landscaped.  

Apart from the restricted size, the garden apartments provide all the facilities available in other Vacation Apartments. In the small apartment you will find all necessary articles for your comfortable stay including furniture, TV set, Telephone, kitchen wires and such other items.  Utility services like hot and cold water, laundry and car rentals are also available.
